After developing a portable
color printer, this Japanese electronics firm
came to DCI to help them design, develop, and
manufacture a storage and carrying bag for the
printer. Many design criteria had to be met –
space for accessories, easy access to the printer,
a stylish design, and protection from the elements.
The client also wanted a product that was constructed
from environmentally friendly materials and that
could be sold at an aggressively low price. After
several rounds of design refinement, the product
was finalized and production began… on schedule
and on budget.
